Co-Founder of Saftech Canada Inc
Safari Agaba
The co-founder of Saftech Canada Inc, Safari Agaba, is a senior software engineer who gained most of his experience in Canada where he also became a Canadian citizen.
Now located back in Rwanda he is working with his two sons, Shami and Shema, who were educated in Canada and are also Canadian citizens
Because of their dual citizenship and fluency in English and French, the Safari Agaba family is uniquely qualified to recruit, train and supervise Customer Care Representatives (CSR’s) in Kigali, Rwanda. Kigali is now one of the most modern cities in East Africa where English and French are official languages and reliable, high-quality internet at speeds of 150 Mbps is guaranteed by dedicated access links to the country's largest internet providers, (KT RWANDA NETWORK Ltd, MTN Rwandacell & Broadband Systems Corporation).
The Saftech Canada team had the vision to form partnerships with universities and colleges to identify and recruit journalism, communications graduates as CSR’s. This career is attractive to many graduates who otherwise would find it difficult to find employment that financially rewarded their hard-earned degrees. Fortunately for Saftech Canada and its clients, a generous salary in Rwanda or Uganda is still considerably less than is paid to CSR’s in North America.
Kampala, Uganda is a short distance from Rwanda. English is an important official language spoken by all educated Ugandans. Saftech Canada can recruit graduates who are experts in key aspects of IT. For this reason, Saftech offers Level 1 and Level 2 IT support services at substantially lower costs than comparable services in North America.
